B R A I N W A S H – P R E M I E R E

Last night was the Toy Machine Brain Wash video premiere in Long Beach.

The video was rad be sure to get your hands on it ASAP…or be lame and look for it on YouTube.

Ed was holding down the door

Caught Billy Marks by surprise, his part was awesome!

Billy showed me his new tattoos. Dead Sect.

Tattoo of his girl Ashly and his son Catch.

Holy shit! Chuck Nasty got a Turtle boy tattoo wearing a BLAKTAFFI shirt!!! (click the photo)

Gilbert Crockett was there chugging some naked juice.

My good friend Erica Yary and I snuck in a photo before the video started.

Video is starting...everyone start screaming!!!

Eric was hyped on the video, Blair looked a little confused by it.

The always happy Kevin Romar.

Luis Tolentino is one of my favorite dudes. I ran into him on the street yesterday and he did this...( see photo below)

Yesterday Luis did this for the fun of it when we were skating down the street! That loading dock is chest high!

Great job Toy Machine on another rad video!

35mm.

I haven’t shot 35mm in about 7 years. My dad just gave me an old Canon AT-1 and I forgot how much better shooting on film is than digital photos. I took my AT-1 with me when I went to Arizona, here are some of the photos I shot. No captions…just photos of friends on film.

Street League. 1st stop.

I made the trip out to Arizona for the first stop of the Street League tour. I can’t begin to tell how entertaining the contest was. If you didn’t make it out to the contest you can catch it on espn Sept. 15th! I filmed the whole entire contest which left me very little time to take photos, however I did mange to take a ton of photos of all the shenanigans that took place after the contest.

Flew from LA to AZ.

I wish all my flights were this empty.

This is what my aisle looked like.

I shot a lot with my AT-1, i'll be posting some of those photos soon!

Contest ended and the celebrating began. Koston led the way.

This was funny to me.

Billy telling me I'm #1.

Chris Cole was hanging out.

Apparently "going green" is not hip in AZ, they make it rain with napkins.

Billy Clark Kent'ed it and shaved an ultra creepy mustache. Him and Tommy were looking sketchy, I loved it.

Torey Pudwill is the best dude!

Terry has a crazy iced out g-shock watch and a outdated boost mobile flip phone! So awesome.

Of course Billy started playing cee-lo in the middle of the bar. I know better than to roll dice with this guy.

Torey got in on the action.

Felix did a great job announcing all weekend at the contest.

They shut down this bar for Street League.

Nothing but the classiest of ladies in Glendale, AZ.

Chase was feeling em!

Malto killed it in the contest.

Reda and Lutzka.

Nigel was there shooting with his 5d, my point and shoot is way tighter! Nigel and I filmed the whole contest, it was a lot of work.

Nino wanted to know what life was like through my eyes so he put my glasses on and instantly started having fun.

Mikey and Malto hanging out.

3 of the Street League Judges. Snyder Denman and Matt.

All 24 pros voted on who they thought would win the contest and whoever had the most votes won 7 grand! Rob got on the horn and announced the winner.

Nugget won, 7 thousand cash.

Nugget ended up taking home $97,000 for the weekend. I'd say he did alright.

Nyjah won the contest....$150,000!

I flew back home Sunday, i was exhausted....and so was this lady.

I’ll be posting more photos that I shot with my AT-1 very soon! Next stop is Ontario, CA get your tickets now!!

B.H.H.S.

I have been lagging hard on updating, I apologize! Things have been crazy, a cement truck fell through the roof of the Berrics and I’ve had to do some traveling, these are a few of the things that are leaving me very little time to buhh-loggg. I know I promised footage of Pepper, it’s on its way!! I actually got a chance to get out of the office this weekend and go and film some street skating with an awesome group of friends. Before I started working for the Berrics I lived with Billy Marks, which meant I filmed and drove him around all the time, todays post will give you a good glimpse into my past.

Being a filmer means you're the guy who drives to all the spots.

Billy is always sitting shotgun and eating some shitty food.

And playing Dj. I gotta give it to Billy, his playlists are always amazing!

We followed my homie/co-worker Shane Auckland to the spot.

Shane had CK1 with him.

Billy was thinking about calling Rick.

"We're there" -Dumb and Dumber

Yoon was waiting there for us. Shane felt bad for making him wait and tried to make it up to him by showing him the goods, Yoon didn't really care to look..

Yoon hates when people knob perfectly good rails.

This was Cory Kennedy's first time to Beverly.

Billy and Cory tried to think of tricks that haven't been done at this spot yet.

Cory couldn't think of any tricks that hadn't been done yet so he just went for an ABD and front boarded it.

Billy on the other hand went for some next level shit!

Matt, my co-worker/roommate, blasting an ollie.

Incase you didn't already know, Yoon is an amazing photographer, click the photo for proof.

Shane got all epic.

The fuzz ended the sesh.

I leave tomorrow to Arizona for the first Street League event!! I will be sure to take a bunch of photos and post them A.S.A.P. !

Meet Pepper.

Pepper is a homeless man who lives under a bridge near the Berrics. He has lived there for 22 years and says he wouldn’t want to have it any other way. If you ever come by the Arts District you have most likely seen him around. Pepper is by far one of the most unique people I have ever met. One day you’ll see him and he’ll be wearing a tank top and leather pants, another day he’ll be in denim from head to toe, the dude’s got swagger. He comes by the office often to say what’s up because he says he loves skateboarding…I think he just really loves the cases of gatorade we give him. I filmed him giving me tips on life and all other types of stuff the other day, I should have the footage up on Monday, till then enjoy these photos.

This is pepper.

Pepper has an awesome medallion .

Wardrobe change!

Pepper's cart is awesome and it's full of treasures.

Like this rubber boob.

This was just moments after a speeding car went by. Pepper really hates when cars speed through his hood, as you can see he looks like he's ready to beat some ass.

If you think Pepper is interesting just by looking at these photos, just wait till you hear him talk in the videos I will be posting next week.

MARK WEBBER vs the box office.

Today is a big day for my good friend, Mark Webber. He plays Stephen Stills in the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the world which premieres in theaters at midnight, go see it!

Mark loves when I shove the camera in his face.

Mark is one of the raddest dudes I know, see for yourself! He also has an awesome new project in the works and was kind enough to ask me to be apart of it, be on the lookout! This is my all time favorite scene from Mark, peep it here. (sorry Mark I had to do it!)

Street League launch party.

Last friday was the Street League launch party over at the Fantasy Factory. They turned the Factory into a full on music venue and filled it with over a thousand people. Terry Kennedy, Yelawolf, Paul Wall, and Bun B performed! Go to Street League’s site and check out the official Re-cap. Here are a couple of my photos from the night.

I walked in and immediately saw my good friend Billy Marks and his lovely wife to be, Ashly. Bill was pretty hyped to see me.

Rob presented the Street League pros with framed certificates of participation.

<

Koston getting his certificate.

Billy accepting.

After the guys accepted their certificates people were ready to party.

I ran into Chris Cole inside the Offices, he was telling me about a new Iphone app he got.

Billy said he had the same app, so they started nerding out. I have a blackberry so i kept quiet.

Mike Mo was there n'shit.

I "tried" to take a picture with Fabian Alomar but blew it by blinking. Fabian is one of the nicest dudes I know.

One of the main guys behind Street League, Brian Atlas.

On my way out of the party I ran into Big Cat. He posed for a pic but his girl wasn't having it.

I ran into Torey Pudwill in the middle of the street. He was looking through the gift bag that Rob gave to all the SL pros that night.

Brian pulled up and was glad to see Torey was hyped on the gift bag.

I wish i would have taken more photos but i got caught up in the fun and didn’t break out the camera as much as i would have like to. Street League is just around the corner and I’m hyped for the first contest!

Just another shitty day.

Almost everyday I go to Novel Cafe before going into work for an iced coffee. But todays visit to Novel was pretty shitty.

Best coffee spot in downtown LA.

I seen this little guy chillen on a power line above me while I sat outside novel

That "little guy" decided to shit on my clean white shirt.

Oh, and also on my arm.

I’d like to think that I am pretty special, considering there are hundreds of people that go to Novel everyday, that little guy chose to shit on me. This is the first of many posts. This blog is just a look into my random life. Enjoy.
